Introduction of Android:-

Android is a mobile operating system which is based on Linux kernel and other open source software designed for touch screen mobile and tablet and watch etc. The source code has been used to develop variants of Android on a range of other electronics, such as game, console, portable media player, digital camera each with a specialized user interface.

History of Android:- 

      Firstly  Android Inc was found in 2003 at Polo Alto, California by Andy Rubin, Rich  Miner, Nick Sears and Chris White. The company was to develop an advanced operating system for Digital Cameras. In 2005 Google acquired the company Android Inc at least 50 Million dollar. Google marketed the early mobile platform to handset manufacturers and mobile carriers with its major benefits as flexibility and upgradability.

Features of Android:-

1.       User Interface:- User interface is mainly based on directly manipulate, using touch input to perform real world action such as swiping, tapping, pinching and reverse pinching manipulate on-screen objects, along with a  virtual keyboard. User input is designed to be immediate and provides a fluid touch interface. It is very user friendly.

2.       Connectivity:- Android support connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, GSM/EDGE, IDEN, CDMA, Bluetooth, WI-FI, EDGE,3G,NFC, LTE,GPS.

3.       Messaging:-  SMS, MMS, C2DM, GCM

4.       Multi Tasking:- Android support the multi tasking because when some apps run in the background then android allow the user to use multiple apps at a time.

5.       Multi Language Support:- Android supports the multi language in its operating systems and you can change language easily based on user requirement. Android support International languages like as English, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Hindi etc.  

6.       Application Support:- Android have a Play store app there user download different type of application and update that apps directly
